At The School at Marygrove

MISSION & INITIATIVE: Luxe Alchemy’s Educational Enrichment Initiative is a program series that offers course pedagogies in the important role that S.T.E.M. - Science Technology, Engineering & Mathematics plays in the creation of common hygiene products that people use in their daily lives, as well as the key segments that comprise small business retail development and operations.

In addition to teaching the importance of S.T.E.M. in beauty, the curriculum provides hand-on instruction on the creation and development of cosmetics; from mixing to curing, packaging, and retail esthetics, thus providing an experience that cultivates student’s interest in both S.T.E.M. careers, and early entrepreneurship.

Launched in 2022, as a Pilot program with Christ The King Academy Detroit, the program is now offered through the University of Michigan's, Capstone Internship Program, facilitated by the Science & Engineering Department at The School At Marygrove.
